FX Boss help

Postby TheCat041 on Thu Jul 06, 2017 10:08 am

Hi everyone, I recently bought a secondhand FX Boss which was in reasonable condition. I have stripped it down, cleaned everything and replaced every seal with new ones. Have reassembled all components etc and now I have a problem.
The Tube receiver (F1 in the attached pdf file) when tightened does not allow the Quickconnector male fitting (F9) to align straight, which of course stops you from reattaching the stock. I have tried many ways of starting the thread but no luck. If anyone can offer me any suggestions on how to resolve this I would be most grateful.

Regards

I would try it this way, (it's a guess!) align F1 so you can drop it in the stock & tighten stock screws, then spin on the air tube, you don't have to swing off the fittings to get a seal, the air fitting will probably move slightly when you take the air tube on & off, but be locked in by the hole in the stock, give it a go!
