FX Impact

I've ordered a black FX Impact .177 & I've been told January.

Anyone know if this is right or will it be delayed like most rifles from all manufacturers these days?

Latest news I've heard, is that the expected date for the Impact is unknown, so not sure where your chappie got his info from (mine was from ASI last week)

I've was told today, not before January but it could possibly arrive that month.
"Release date unknown" because it can't be confirmed as definite.

Only supplied with one barrel too, unless FAC.

Sub12ftlb .177 is what I've ordered.

Oh, my info wasn't the 'official' line - hardly ever see the 'high-ups' when I'm in there ;) sorry to mislead you on that - I'm often in the workshop & get to talk to them about the new offerings :D

Order changed today. Not waiting on Impact.

I was at my RFD's today & there was Daystate Pulsar Tactical very, very nice but the high price, cocking lever position, no multi-shot mag & weight put me off.
I compared the Tactical Pulsar with my mates scoped Wildcat.

FX Wildcat .177 ordered, with 3 extra mags that will slot into the mag holder I've just bought on eBay.

Can't wait......

The Wildcats are nice - was going for one, but can't justify another multi-shot, so got a Typhoon instead.

Would be a Awsome rifle in FAC with a selection of barrels but how it would be legal I'm not sure ?
At best I would think you would need a slot on your ticket for each barrel
Personally as a non Fac holder I would like a .177 , .20 .22 barrel version but I don't think the .20 cal is a available
There bound to have a impact or 2 at the British shooting show in Febuary and be able to find out options possibilitys at the show

The impact in FAC is one of the guns I've been researching and I've also wondered about the certificate question over calibre. I've now got a clear .30 (after selling a superb Boss) and one .22 so in theory I should be able to buy the gun in one calibre and then get a barrel in another. However, before I place any order a quick check with my licencing unit will take place. The initial videos of the USA imports look great and I'm definitely more interested in function over looks but unless the Impact turns out to be a cracking rifle it's looks could make it a bummer to sell later.........time will tell.
