How many is too many?

Yes, all kinds of non-FX airguns have a place here. Do consider the proper locations for these discussions though.

That's what I call an organised equipment list :D

I see you have a few MTC scopes, I reckon they are damn nice for the money compared to a few others I have looked through. Never looked through the MTC Cobra, are they as good optically as the Mamba and Vipers?

I had a sub 12 fp .22 career (spelling ?) 707 sent It way for tuning but not to high to aid consistency.. i think it was around 50 fp and was accurate enough with Biz Mags. It was also good enough with piledrivers for slightly larger critters. It never put a foot wrong till i sold it to a guy on another forum who ran it right down of air shooting it in his garage when he got home.. . Had trouble getting a fill into it as the valve was open.. Then blow some seals and wanted his money back.

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d98/t ... IZEGUN.jpg Sorry Zero.. Not tried the URL thing yet but it's on my list of thing to do..

The above pic was taken by the guy who sold it to me.. Edit, dont think that one was ?.. anyway if its not the very same gun it looked the same ..

ShinSung Career 707, never seen one but that shape always reminds me of an old Winchester repeater rifle - wanted one as a kid, yeah I watched way too many cowboy films . Shame it ended up in the hands of someone like that though.... They have a photo of one here too ;)

Ah yeah, the 707. Illegal in NL :)

Anyway, I like MTC scopes, I think they're a lot of value for money. The Cobra's aren't made in japan though, like the other models, but in China. Nontheless, it's a not too bad scope for the money, it makes for a nicely sized scope which just fits right on the Huntsman Classic.

I've glared through a 1.5-6x42 and I noticed a lot of parallax error, which was surprising to me. MTC scopes have a good reputation and the ones I have don't have any problems. Maybe it was exemplaric. It seems like a great scope for the Verminator. For now I ordered an ElCheapo NCStar 6x40 for it though :)

Optisan (basically the company which actually makes MTC) also has another line which is brought to market as Prestige 6Z. They look great and I've seen through one...nice! Anyone have experience with it? (we're slipping a bit offtopic...but who cares!)

I'm surprised at the 1.5-6x42 having parallax problems but I guess the odd one or two can slip through occasionally. Did a search for the Optisan Prestige 6Z, found some info here. The 2 -13X44 sounds nice, just over 10" / 335mm, I'd gladly do without the illuminated reticle and would prefer the MTC design mil dot, if they are the same standard as the Mamba's they will be good. Problem is I've become too comfortable with the side parallax ;)
