Accuracy with Magazine.

Postby Ian on Wed May 08, 2019 9:57 pm

Hi guys, it’s been a couple of years since I sold my last FX and that was the .30 Boss. I’ve since gone down the Bullpup route with Daystate but unfortunately the accuracy with their magazines is poor in my experience and although using the single shot tray restores very good results I need a mag as I hunt with FAC. Now to my predicament, which I’d welcome your help with. I really like the latest impact in .25 but can any current users confirm if the accuracy with the mag is equally good as a single shot I.e. no difference in resistance when pushing home the pellet ? Any other advice gratefully received. Many thanks. Ian.

Hello there Ian
Whilst I know it is a while since you posted about this subject I can add some fact to this subject I am the PROUD owner of a 700mm .25 cal impact in FAC. I am unable to notice any difference in the mag(28) to the Rowan single shot loader wrt accuracy. However I do shoot now with only the single shot loader(no reason other than habit) which comes from owning and using regularly for both hunting and plinking a Daystate Airwolf MCT sub 12ft/lb with single shot (Rowan) loader ( I have put through more than 100,000 pellets.

Hi
Just bought a impact mk 2 in 177 with the large capacity mag.when shooting with mag in I might get 10 shots perfect then some off zero then back to zero and so forth.when i load the pellet directly into the barrel it's perfectly on zero every time.i think it's such a shame that fx build such a fantastic gun that is capable of producing outstanding accuracy only to ruin it with a crap mag system.
