another night scope question

another night scope question

has any one tried any of the nv scopes from deben ,looking at the spartan or the nvs4900 any advice much apreciated thanks,by the way i read the other nv post and will be looking at the yukon range thanks guys.

hi mate

yes ive tried the spartan mk410 and for the money i find them a tad expensive (obviously only personal opinon) and also very heavy , but on the plus side the optics are ok and are packed with features, but in all honesty if it was me i would save a few quid and try buying a secondhand s50pro if your after a gen 1for around the £250 mark, cracking scope for the money

any experiance with the nsxd pro i assume its an updated s50 :? found one new £455 :) thanks

hi buddy, i never used or looked through a nsxd before sorry so i couldnt really comment

I would stick with that Sentinel 2.5x50 unit - 3 years warranty, focuses down to 12/15 foot (& out to a couple of hundred yards), remote switching (if you want) & power regulated (you can use re-chargers). Its also a very modern design ;) which you can fit a 'doubler' to if needed (makes it about 4.3X actually).

thanks ian no dout sound advice ;) ,however a tad late as i had orderd the nsxd pro it will take a doubler so comes out at x4.5ish hope i dont regret it :| and well done on the loktite idea for air tube not come loose so far :)
