Okay, it's a Webley, but maybe I can find a proper FX badge for it ;)

Sexy!.
I remember when that rifle was first out as a twinshot.
Was'nt it called a RWS Rapier?
It was Axelssons first production PCP rifle.
Or was that a completly different rifle?

Just remember how much i wanted one of them!!!

So pleased that it's arrived with you Polar - I've been watching the website (that it came from) and worrying!!!

It looks to be in ABSOLUTELY PERFECT CONDITION - thank god there are some 'anally retentive' types around still (who keep things 'nice' & keep all the paperwork) :D

I've just bought the very same stock type for my Excalibre (stock #3  ) I'm sure it will be suitable for your target shooting needs (broad and flat forend).
Is it a 10xxx serial number - if so that's quite late in the production line (therefore good)

What's your opinion of the longer Webley sound moderator?

Serial no. 10477 :)

The moderator seems to do its stuff, but at 12fpe even a hollow pipe would do its stuff. I'll try it on my T-12 (40J), see if it really does the trick. It does look good though. I have a BSA SAS which I swapped for a Parker Hale, but that latter one was really good (for its diameter). It's really a rifle you keep grabbing.

The stock does seem to have a few very minor marks on it, upon further inspection, but hey...it's not a new gun and I'm not bothered by it. It does appear dry though, so I think I'll order me a bit of Maccari Royal London Oil and give it a good oil finish. That'll really make it stand out!
