its had about 10 hours work on oiling so far another 10 to go.... :shock:

its a great gun very happy with it.

Not surprised, Daz that's one of the best walnut stocks I've ever seen - fabulous figuring!

You could only just see a hint of it before I started but I was lucky my royale had a good bit of stick to start with.

I'm toying with the idea of staining the sap wood, to match the heart wood colour, what do you think ?

Some say leave it they like the contrast, others say it looks like two bits of wood stuck together :shock:
