Brass Trigger Blade

Postby GAZ5570 on Tue Jul 08, 2014 11:10 pm

Hi all, looking for some info on what trigger blades from other Webley/FX models will fit my early Venom Viper. I want to replace the gold plated original with a proper brass match or set back blade if possible!

Had a look at the Swedish ones, looks like they drop down a bit further than the webley and might foul the trigger guard :(

Got my hands on a couple of FX custom brass trigger blades, a set back version and a straight match version.

Turns out the Viper trigger blade sits on top of a small steel block that brings it down as far as the FX blade so they will fit after all. The screw that holds the blade in place is too long without the block in place so I have ordered a shorter one with a button head as the brass blades are not countersunk like the original.

I will be polishing the machining marks off the blades too and rounding the edges a bit too - then I will have to decide which one I like best :D

Can varmits or targets tell the color or material of a trigger?
