Here is the problem: The action will not stay tight in the stock. I have had Airguns of AZ send me a shortened stock screw, but after minor use the screw still backs out for some reason. I have used teflon tape, same problem. The orginal stock screw was too long, and could not be tightened to hold the action in the stock properly.

I am going to try and find a lock washer tomorrow that will fit.

You would think the brass cup that the stock screw fits in would offer enough softness to act as a lock washer. Obviously not.

I have never had this problem with any firearm I have ever owned. Needless to say, not a very happy camper at this point, even though this should be a simple fix.

Update:

I found a steel lockwasher, and it seems to be holding so far. I am a little concerned that the lockwasher will mar the brass bushing that the stock screw fits into. I was unable to find a flatwasher that would fit into the brass bushing to place between the lockwasher and the brass bushing.

I am dissapointed that this problem ever left the factory.
