Advise needed folks.....................l have been offered one of these pistols that my local
gunshop has taken in part-exchange against a Cutlas.
It is only about 6 weeks old (or so l am told) it looks immaculate, and is for sale for £500.00 ($1100.00)

Does this seem to be a bargain ???
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

If you like pistols, I don't see how yuou can go wrong with it. It's one of the (very) few high powered air pistols on the market. It should have the regular FX build quality and performance, but in a smaller form factor. So if you like it, or need it, go for it.

That said, I think the pistol power output it limited to 6 ft/lbs in the UK. You should be asking yourself if spending that kind of money on a PCP pistol is really sensible. CO2 is cheap and CO2 powered pistols are aplenty and cheap.

But who said sensible choices are the right ones? ;)
Webley FX2000 .22
FX T400 .25
FX Monsoon .22 Walnut
FX Cyclone .177 Regulated
FX Biathlon .177 Regulated

I've had:
Pretty much every model FX made :)

I answered Barrie via PM (just now) saying very similar Polar :D
>That is a cracking price
>Always been a highly sought after gun
>Great fun
>I couldn't afford one (last year)
& finally, we need an actual review here !!! :P

I think Perics' first pic was the Ranchero Carbine which is a bit of a US speciality & wouldn't be at all legal in the UK.

...just to add - Ben Taylor said the Ranchero Pistol stocks were very much Hand Made /Carved by one chap (in N Europe) & they alone contributed approx €180 to the final cost.
The air reservoir is just too small for a BTAS Regulator to be fitted but like most FX guns the FPS spread is pretty good as standard.

Well now Ian..............if you wanted to treat yourself, l would be more than willing to
collect it from the shop for you, and post it out to you.

You said you couldn't afford it last year !.............hows about NOW ??? (Ha-ha)

Seriously though........it is VERY tempting

Shoote safely all of you..
Best Regards for now

No sadly, Dr Barrie bought himself a Verminator (for a number of specific reasons), Joe

Welcome to the Forum :)

I see plenty of Rancheros on US Forums but I don't know of any in the UK.
