Some progress pics of the Ranchero carbine stock; Bisley adjustable butt pad to be fitted, a few more coats of oil and sanding, seal the inletting and it should be good to go.

Thanks Ian. I did not want a slavish copy of the original yet the application calls for some similarities. Tip to tip it measures 32.5 inches (with the silencer on) and is surprisingly comfortable and easy to use for such a compact item. I am very happy with the end result.

PS: The photos make it look as if the wood is yellowish when in real life the it more of a gold fleck effect. Looks spectacular in the sunlight.

Looks to me like it prefers a larger port for shot consistency and a smoother tail off. Don't suppose you happen to know the size of the largest port ?
I currently have a 3.5mm with the thought it would slow the tail off but looking at your figures I'm not sure it would.

Certainly not what I was expecting either to be frank. I am going to hand the Ranchero over to our local tune guru in whom I have enormous trust; I am hoping he can work some magic so that I can squeeze out a full three mags of 8.44gr .177s averaging around 790fps or so with minimal spread.

I am also pondering a Delrin rod from which to mill a few experimental power selectors with different sized holes to see what happens. But this is a bit further down the road for now, first the tune guru must get his mits on it and give his verdict.
