Fx Gladiator DA-R

Two types known, the "DA" or "Double Air" and the "PA" or "Pump Action" (a.k.a. FX Exterminator). Lots of air (500cc minimum), and the same biathlon style sidelever action as the Cutlas. Also known as Logun Gladi8tor.

Forgot to mention that, the original 3stage power selector is replaced from a single transfer port with inner diameter of 3.5mm.

The detailed muzzle speed recording as promised:
Indoors-18 degrees Celsious-16grains AA Field Domed 5,52 pellets-Cronograph: Chrony Alpha.
The readability of the manometer of the fill pressure is not good, thats why the recordings of the fill pressure are sporadic and inaccurate.

To be honest..got tired/bored  after 100 shots. The day after, I measured about 25 shots from 277m/s down to 275m/s. the fill pressure droped to 140 bar.
Average muzzle pellet speed: 277,9 m/s, Standard Deviation: 0,97m/s (appr. 70 shots are between speed margin from(277,9m/s-0,97m/s) up to (277,9m/s+0,97m/s)).

Indeed great gun. Because of that, I followed the directive of ''No irreversible Changes''....something like respect to the gun.

The credit for the high efficiency of air consuming is not belonging to me. I had the gun two years long, after watching/observing the air consuming of the gun, I noticed that, for the given transfer port and hammer spring tension(fully loose), the gun consumes very little amounts of air @160bar-155bar. It was only logical to set the regulator at that pressure.

The credit for muzzle speed consistency is also not fully mine. The regulator of Audrious is a fine, simple and functional construction...I only hope it will last...but even though, its maintenance or even repair is really easy and really low cost.

I will post in near future, some groups on the target paper.....Long Range Shooting i call it...

The promised grouping results:
Conditions:
Altitude: 563meters, Temperature: 16C, wind blowing direction from 10:00 up to 14:30 O'clock with 1,5 up to 2 m/s wind speed, slope angle -4 degrees.
15 shots attempt to each target....ok not all found their way...but it was really close!

The diabolos were "salvaged" from the 200 meters tin.
Observe the smooth outer diameter of the diaobolos....i love it!!!!
