While I've never done it, you should be able to flop the lever over after splitting the receiver halves. The safety, however, isn't reversible. Getting the upper and lower receiver pieces back together is a sort of a four hand operation. The detent balls and springs want to go flying, while the lever drops out of position. If you're careful during dis-assembly, the power selector wheel and its parts might stay in their place. The cocking handle would need to be moved to the bottom of the lever of course. Good luck! I've read the co owner is left handed, hence the left-friendly designs.
