Anyone tried this & what reg did you use, any problems etc. etc.?
Just that I'm getting about 40 'good' shots from a full 220 Bar fill & that's just about the minimum that I need (always could use a few more though), so I'm considering going down the regulator route.
Did wonder about seeing about getting a s/h cyclone tube if ever one becomes available

My . 177 Solo had a Ben Taylor & Son reg in when I bought it and it gave me about 90+ shots from a 230 bar fill. After about six years it started to become a little erratic and really needed a good service. As Ben Taylor had retired I decided to replace it with a Robert Lane reg.

The new reg was really easy to fit but you will need to balance up the hammer weight and spring tension to get the best shot count/power ratio out of it. Robert does loads of videos on Youtube so it was all quite simple. I get a good 80 shots from a 230 bar fill in .177 and I could probably get more if I took a little bit more time with the hammer setup.

Robert Lane gives great information by email and will tell you anything you want to know. A link for FX regs on the bay below
