hi folks,

ok, have the same job done as polarwolf, my t12 was a low 7,5 j.
version, i drill out the port to 3,5 mm and add a cyclone hammer spring

with a h&n baraccuda 5,5 ( 21,14 grain / 1,37 gramm ) the output reached
over 30 j.

i think the bolt of the t12 is not suitable for a harder hammer spring,
because its to small for a big effort to cock the rifle, its very
uncomfortable for my fingers :)

but it was a very interesting workshop to try out :) :) :)

all a good rest of the summer
Ralph

It's fairly easy to make a bolt handle which is suitable for a bit more tense hammer spring. The handle itself screws into the bolt with regular M5 threads. I used to have a T-12 with a brass bolt handle in a "teardrop" shape. Faced with the choice now I'd make an extended steel bolt handle with a big knob.

Have fun with the rifle! :)

hi polar,

"an extended steel bolt handle with a big knob" this seems to be the best
solution and i believe its look ver cool

make a pair good pictures and post it if you like it

brass locks good but steel is a bit more stable, the better
choice i think

I don't have a T-12 with such a bolt handle now, actually, it's just what I'd do if I had one. Maybe I'll make one for my FX2000 though. Such an extended bolt is also used for the chinese QB series CO2 rifles. All that's required is making some M5 threads on it. Check out Archer Airguns for said bolt handle.

after a little revision the bolt handle fits better on the breech,
looks very big on the rifle, but works fine with harder hammer spring.
the bit glides not very smooth in the breech block, the soft alu is the reason,
a lot of grease is necessary.

i think my next will be a little shorter and in brass but is this
material stable enough ?

my second bolt handle revision works better, the failure at the first version
the bit was too long and the pellet probe dont push staight forward and stop
in the breech block

in the uk you will need fac to own this moded t12 however if you must you can drill through
the side wall to the air transfer port and have a power adjuster screw.screw in for less power
and out for more.
if like me your son is using it and you want to bring standard uk power down the only mod
you need to do is the side wall to tranfer port mod( see original air arms s200 with same idea as standard)
