The FX Typhoon is considered the "entry level" PCP from FX. There's nothing entry level about its preformance though! This more or less classic airrifle is available in various models, starting with a "Typhoon Standard", the cheapest variant. The top model in this range is the Typhoon Match Walnut, which sports the LW choked barrel and a pretty walnut stock. Funny detail is that most walnut stocks for the Typhoon are actually Logun branded ones as this rifle is also known as Logun Solo.
As said, these days the standard Typhoon doesn't come with a LW barrel, but with a korean made one. An upgrade to the "Match" version results in a stock with adjustible butt pad, and the LW choked match barrel which is so popular. The next upgrade is to a walnut stock. The Typhoon is a single shot rifle, but based on the same platform is the T-12, which sports a self indexing magazine containing 12 shots in .22 and 16 shots in .177. Aside from the multishot version of the Typhoon, there's also a T-12 which doesn't have a similar version as Typhoon, the T-12 Whisper. Available in both synthetic and in walnut, it comes with the stock from the Monsoon semi automatic rifle, and the same thick barrel shroud. It's more quiet to shoot than the standard Typhoon/T-12.
