Tweak regulator

I have an older model BTAS regulated cyclone.
I have tested some different weight pellets with a combro.
7.9 gr gave 797fps and 11.18 ft lbs.
8.3 gr gave 743fps and 10.19 ft lbs.
8.64 gr (only 4.50 where others were 4.52) gave 650fps and 8.00 ft lbs.

I'd like to tweak the regulator a smidgen to give a slightly higher output but keep under 12 ft lbs.

Is it pretty straightforward?
Looking at the strip down thread, looks like the reg is in the end of the air cylinder.
While I'm at it, I'd like to change the seals as well (might be worth me doing them 1st to see if there's any difference) - again, is it feasible for a competent tradesman to do?

Another question. What does the brass screw under the thumb / magazine locating rod do?

Figured out what the brass screw is. It's the anti tamper plug that covers the hammer adjustment.
Could I adjust this 1st, say 1/4 turn inwards. Would this up the power a little?

Personally, I'd give it a go with some 10.5 pellets & adjust to them - as I understand that if the gun is seized by the UK police, they check with light, medium & heavy pellets & if the gun goes over, then the owner is liable
