Having accuracy 'issues'

Postby Suffolk Rifle on Fri Sep 09, 2016 8:53 pm

Just recently, I've noticed that my .177 Cyclone carbine has drifted away from being a single hole group (rested) to a half inch grouping at 30 yards, tried different magazines, the pellets are the same 'batch' as I was using last year AFAIK, the gun has had about 12,000 pellets through it (LW barrel), barrel has had 8 cleaning felts put through it without any visible effect (either worse or better), anybody have any idea where I go from here?
Things I've got left to try are:
Single feed pellets (just in case mags are part of the problem)
Remove silencer (though it has been on the gun all the time)

Thanks, will add them to the list, I'm also going to try some other pellets, just in case.

Looks like I was wrong as to the pellets - tried a few of a different batch & it went back to piling the pellets on top of each other

Also found out that the reg was playing up. It's now all sorted, and back to a single ragged hole groups at 50 metres (though I've still to try the other batch of pellets, just to see if they are rubbish)

What reg do you have in yours? Factory fitted or other.

AFAIK, it's factory fitted, bought the gun when it was a year old, so doubt it had been swapped out in that time.
