Altaros regulator for cyclone

I've tried to find the answer to this but can't, so am asking. Has anyone had experience with altaros reg in a cyclone. Not drilling a hole seems a good idea. But not a deal breaker.
Also I had a read about all the further tuning you can do when fitting a reg. If nothing other than installing a reg is done, is there still an improvement in consistency, or is tuning of valve spring tension and stems also required?
Thanks in advance.

i had one in my cyclone .. made the gun very consistent.. but i now only use the cyclone for hunting so i have the reg removed for now .. reg super easy to install and no drilling holes !!

Thanks for that. Typically I found a thread on huma regs and the cyclone after posting that. I like the fact it's reversible.
So now I sit and wait for my new gun to arrive.
We don't have a lot to choose from in NZ and we often have to wait a long time, not even firing or holding the gun, so we depend a lot on reviews.
