changing #26 or buying new cylinder

Hi folks,

i got my Cyclone .22 FAC in `07 and the Date of the Air Cylinder is 08-05. Now i have to change #26 :-( ;

I have some dentalsticks to poke on it, but i´m afraid of scratches in the brass. The o-ring is hard as wood and after half an hour of poking i got some hair-thin pieces of rubber out.

So my questions are:

Is there an expiry date for the cylinder?

Can i destroy the brass-seatings while poking with the dental-needle so that it won´t get sealed again?

Any experience or suggestions with using heat, brakecleaner or anything else to get the oring out?

Any idea about the price at Gunsmith/dealer to change the oring?

Shall i buy a new aircylinder?

Shall i buy a Dreamline? And if - anyone want´s to buy my Cyclone?

Thanks for your input!

Fairly sure that the parts (25 & 27) should unscrew from each other, allowing you to then pick out the remains of the O ring. I can see no reason to buy a new cylinder unless the old one is faulty (doesn't need a test either, as it's below 500cc, if you're in the UK)
